Like in the last couple of years, I’ve been really detailed about what I want, what I want to experience and who I want to experience with – what outcome I want. I SEE it happen in my mind. Planting seeds like this, slowly, they will grow! Thinking about it and visualizing it is like fertilizer!

Trust me, it works.

How much energy do you spend on this? Thinking about your future, like really vividly, like it’s ALREADY happening. You’re in the process of making it materialize.

And to finish with some wise words from the awesome Spencer Harrington a.k.a. RANDOM – “Worrying is like praying for the bad to happen” … now take the opposite of that and you’ll have what I’m talking about…

I accidentally went to the official Bruce Lee website, stayed, watched some videos and got totally inspired (Don’t you just love it when that happens?). It’s his daughter Shannon who has taken over the family business and is now occupied with spreading the word – you go girl!

Bruce Lee has always been a source for inspiration, ever since I was a kid. I even remember having a long, deep discussion with my cousin (Who is like an Einstein, studied Theoretical Physics at KTH) about life, truth and god etc… But the only thing we could agree upon was that Bruce Lee is the universal constant of awesomeness. To that there can be no possible objection.

So here I was thinking I should post some videos and so maby you guys could get inspired too ;)

But I kept going and won the first match. The guy was actually bigger than me but he did mostly straight attacks. As you can see I keep moving around him making it hard for me to hit me while I’m punishing his legs. Also towards the end of the round he’s tired too and I just keep pummeling his legs and get the victory.

I didn’t have much ‘cardio’ left for the second round which causes it to assume a different form of fight, it’s calmer but more explosive. I decided that since I don’t have so much gas left I’ll not move much but hit him hard as he closes in. I got in a couple nice Chudan Mawashigeri’s which made him realize my power and he didn’t come close for the rest of the fight, utilizing his reach.

I was the agressor and I was confident about winning until the last ten seconds … I do a Chudan Mawashigeri which hits his knee (just below my shinguard). A tremendous pain shoots down my foot and I’m shocked. I stagger trying to maintin composure and keep standing up. But he sees that I’m totally off balance and grabs the opportunity. He hit a semi-clean Jodan Mawashigeri and then he did a cool Kaiten Geri which hit in the LAST SECOND – which made him win the fight.

But all in all a good experience and I’m gonna train much harder and diligently for my next tournament!

Intel had an event in London, Oxford at the Landed Lan to which they flew me in specifically to host. It was show down between two Intel-sponsored teams; ArmaTeam and 4Kings. If you are a pro-gamer you can see a lot of familiar faces in the video, Xenon and Mangiacapra to name a few. Simon Bysshe was the one who directed and edited it. I kid you not after 2003 (when this was made) his career skyrocketed!

It was a great experience to work with professionals and amateurs a like. I remember having a blast partying with the gamers and production people. And also I would like to thank Intel for have given me the chance to participate!

WHAAT?!

That’s right! Recently the preview party for EDONISM was held at club 57 in Roppongi.
Lorenzo, Lucy and Alessandro have worked SO HARD to produce this movie and I think it is a great success! The main actor is Sacha Mülebach who is like a brother to me and I love him with all my heart.

He asked me one day if I wanted to help out with the movie he was making, I said yes and had the pleasure of playing a minor part in the movie. I will try to get the clip up and put it in the video section once it has been officialized ;)

Lucy the co-producer said it was a small but very memorable scene so that makes me all warm and fuzzy inside :D

Apart from that we had an A W E S O M E party! With DJ Dominic spinning some really hot tunes. Dancing with the russian babes Svetlana, Natalya and Alla making the dance floor HOT HOT HOT. Also I met some quality top banana producer / director people in the place … Some memorable ones were Bill, G, Markus, Pete, Hiro just to name a few …

I had an awesome time! THANK YOU NICK! THE OWNER OF CLUB 57 FOR AN AWESOME NIGHT! THANK YOU LORENZO AND LUCY FR MAKING IT HAPPEN! AND THANK YOU DOMINIC FOR THE MUSIC!

On a side note: Dominic took my to a place called The Warehouse after this to see DJ Chris Lake LIVE! WHAT?! SHIT WAS OFF THE HOOK!

I Will probably write a post about this event for itself cause a lot of cool stuff happened. Just have to get my hands on those pictures first. DJ Vivid was nice enough to invite us up to the VIP where I’m standing and RIDING THAT BEAT! Felt amazing standing above everybody and just dancing my ass off!

So what  was I doing at TGS? Well I was hyping up the crowd, whooping newbie ass with Joe Fender, getting interviewed on stage (in Japanese) and dancing with the lovely booth babes.
Tough gig huh? ;)

I met a lot of interesting and inspirational people. I LOVE GAMERS! I’m serious they’re the best people in the world along with DJs.
Always honest, having fun and very intelligent!

Also as a BONUS! My teachers and classmates from SWEDEN (!) came to see me. If you don’t know it already I was studying at HGO back in the days (Game production, design and programming) on the island of Gotland.

So my teachers whom I haven’t seen in a long time came over to visit – AWESOME!

Needless to say, being Swedes, we ripped bars and clubs upside down – inside and out once work was over… just like good old times ;)

I had a blast and if you haven’ t went to TGS yet you better get your ass over here next year cause it was BANGIN’!

I did go to ODEON in between as well to bust some moves but only stayed there for about 40 minutes.

So basically what happened was I was at Quest from 00:00 then at 09:00 in the morning we went to ODEON and had a drink and some dancing. I love Odeon the DJ was awesome … his name was … fuck I don’t remember :( But he was awesome! Playing latin tunes.

Then we went to Blue bar and that’s when it really happened! Hitoshi the manager was an AWESOME guy we had a great time. I met up with Jason who’s a pro MMA fighter and we were just dancing aaall night and shooting shit! I met Yu and his two girls whom I call okaasan and mami. After Blue bar at about 19:30 in the night we went back to Quest for the FATALITY … and that’s about it.

I stayed at quest until 07 in the morning the following day, talking to the staff and just chilling. There wasn’t much happening on Sunady sadly … dunno how we should fix that, maby have some events or something, speed-dating perhaps?

Last weeks Friday was a bit special, I thought I would take you through it. Once each term we have something called a “Free Talk” – ‘normal’ people coming to our class and having conversations with us in Japanese. I will highlight the names of my classmates in red and the Free-talkers in … pink!

This time I got paired with Ralf who is also from Sweden and our first ‘chatting’ partner was …

Uozumi was a pretty cool girl. She had a lot of energy hiding behind that timid Japanese facade. She is actually a first degree blackbelt in Aikido. I have also practiced Aikido so I made sure to try her skills out and of course she didn’t just talk the talk she also walked the walk.

Next up was Rumi-san. She was a cool lady. She has been traveling all over the world and we spent a lot of time talking about her time in Sweden (SWEDEN!). She also loves latin dance right now her favourite style is flamenco. She promised to introduce me to some salsa clubs later … for better and for worse ;)

Lastly we were talking to Yamagishi-san. Actually we have met her a few times before she’s a regular amongst the “Free-talkers”. I couldn’t spend so much time talking to her because I had a meeting to go to …

… I met up with Skank (in the picture) who’s the sales-rep for SteelSeries here in Japan. He hooked up a meeting with Gate (a big distributor in Japan) so that I could get some information on how to expand the brand YummieTummie into the Japanese market. On a side note; as a side effect of being kicked out of QuakeCon I spent a lot of time mingling with business people in the pool where I met up with Sherry and we started talking and saw that there was a business opportunity which ended up leading me to this point.

We could SMOKE in the meeting room! That’s a lot of points in the book of Cyrus. Also the Gate guys were awesome giving me a lot of support and tips on where I could take my business. They were very professional and kind, any body who does business with them will be successful I’m sure.

After that we went to an izakaya (a japanese sort of drinking-restaurant) and had shabu-shabu.

We met up with the other people in the company. And seriously they were all cool guys!

So we get these “nabe” that are are heated by a flame using gas and elec-tro-ticity

Bring on the MEAT! We had heaps and heaps of different kinds … aaaa sooo goood!

But wait there’s something missing… Hmm…

BEER! The cornerstone of every nutritous (Swedish) diet. Some of these guys could actually drink!
Digital five!

This guy was awesome! Hiyoshi-san (haibanhunterk)is a hardcore collector of Metal albums. He’s a laid back and cool guy but he warmed up and started talking to me when I mentioned I was a manager for a Swedish metal band called Mushaboom whom I’m currently trying to get to Japan. The thing I’m holding on the picture, although you can’t see it clearly, is a guitar pick that’s made out of a crash cymbal. It’s worth about 150$ and he has been using it for one year and a half. We kept talking and exchanging music for the most part of the dinner. A really cool guy and when I go to his studio (which looked awesome) I’ll make a post about it on the blog as well as some jamming video.

Behind us we had a group of university students make noise and being rowdier than us (HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE WHEN I AM THERE?!)

The guy on the left is Ohsawa-san and the one on the right is Demoto-san. After hearing that I was a pro-gamer Ohsawa-san was actually foolish enough to challenge me to a game of Yakisoba (a game on his Iphone) and even though I had never played it before I actually beat both of them (proZaC power). I’m just staying true to my motto – “Any challenge at any time at any place. IT’S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!”.

Some of us were still in high spirits and didn’t want to go home. For you guys who don’t know the last train leaves around midnight so you have two choices.

Option A (The Chicken): You catch the last train, play a serenade on the meat flute and go to sleep.
Option B (Partypeople): You stay until the first train leaves at about 05:30 or you just keep on going.

We went to this bar and had some fancy … SHELLFISH?! It actually tasted pretty good.
Of course we had shitloads of beer and kept talking. They actually didn’t learn after the Yakisoba game so they challenged me again.
This time it was …

… Air-hockey! I LOVE AIR-HOCKEY! I rarely lose and if I do it’s hats off to my opponent. Ohsawa-san sadly I think wasn’t focused enough and the beer was taking its’ toll on him. But I on the other hand went into my Zen-Mode ™ and beat him 12-0.

Who needs to focus on the game when you got cigarettes? This was a pretty good game Demoto-senshi had a solid samurai-gamer spirit but the game finished in a draw. OSU!

Next up was …

… Slaps! Those who have been following me and my gaming career know that I play slaps with every interesting / spirited person I meet. And to this day I have never lost.

The next and the last game is not really one of my favourites (because I suck at it!) but it IS very manly…

… That’s right! ARMWRESTLING! Granted Takahashi-san is like me a karate-ka (somebody who has practiced karate) so his skills was top-notch! And even though he might not look it, he IS a very strong guy. And props for staying up drinking, being old and all ;) I’m just teasin’ (I HATE LOSING!)

Next up was some “fyllekäk” (drunken food – food  you eat after you’ve been drinking). While walking to the matsuya (a fast food chain that is pretty awesome!) we stumbled upon a very common thing in Japan on the weekends. Nameley drunken fuckin’ passed OUT japanese people. Mind you he’s ACTUALLY on the street sleeping (snoring like a mf!) and usually they survive … imagine if it was ANY other country.

I don’t blame him I was on my way to do the same thing … but I did it in my bed.

I had an amazing time, went totally nuts and I actually managed to get drunk this time. I think the whiskey had something to do with it ;-)
I came home at 01 passed out woke up at 06 and then it was back to bizniz!
